A great lesson from the blind men, who could not see, but sought diligently for Jesus. They cried out for mercy; compassion, forgiveness. Faith is required, that Jesus is the Son of God, that He came to take away the sin of the world, that is the promised messiah. When you approach Jesus in prayer, do you come in faith? What will you answer, when He asks, “Do you believe that am I able to do this?” (Matt 9:28). The blind men proclaimed what Jesus had done for them. Do you proclaim what He has done for you?
As He did with the mute, Jesus grants the oppressed a voice. He is the greatest advocate of the poor, even today! He approaches the outcasts, the tired, the hungry, and the weak. To this day, many try to silence the words of Jesus, because he empowers the spirit! Christians today bring the hope of Christ all over the world, and many suffer dearly for it, some paying for it with their lives. The harvest is plentiful! Many long for the hope of Jesus, and a God that loves them. Help Jesus give sight to a path to God. Help Jesus give a voice that can praise God. Bring the word of God to all, be a worker for Jesus.
